Hydrological Regime and Water Resources Management in the Context of Climate Change

Organized by the Vietnam National Committee for UNESCO - International Hydrological Program (UNESCO-IHP) and Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), the international conference on Hydrological Regime and Water Resources Management in the Context of Climate Change - HWCC” will be held during 8-12 November 2010 at the Sofitel Plaza, Hanoi city, Vietnam, in conjunction with the 18th Regional Steering Committee (RSC) Meeting for UNESCO International Hydrological Programme for Southeast Asia and the Pacific (UNESCO-IHP SEAP).

 The International Conference will consist of two-days opening ceremonies and technical sessions (8-9 November, 2010), one-day technical visit to karst hydrology in Ninh Binh Province  (10 November) and two-days (11-12 November) for the 18th  RSC Meeting.

The 5th APHW Conference theme is entitled "Hydrological Regime and Water Resources Management in the Context of Climate Change - HWCC" with the aim of sharing ideas, experiences, and research findings devoted to several focal areas of IHP - VII (2008-2013)
