Activities and Achivements
The Center has so far implemented successfully different scientific and technological research and application projects; developed procedures; and conducted field inspections and surveys, etc. The Center scientific and technological activities have been undertaken at State, Ministerial (including General Departments), and grassroots level; and in the form of different service contracts.
The Center has obtained significant achievements, greatly contributing to key programs, socio-economic development and sectoral development. These have enabled us to organize intensive training courses to enhance our officials, staff and employees professionalism and their organization, instruction and management skills over science and technology research activities.
Our projects have addressed almost meteorological, hydrological and environmental issues that need to research on, ranging from calculation of environmental flow, water and air quality prediction, water resources planning and management, field surveys to natural disaster warning, etc. Other issues concerning climate change and poverty situation in Vietnam have also been looked at. They all have significant scientific implications and hold critical role in socioeconomic development.
