Mandate and Functions
1.Carry out scientific researches for establishment of development strategy and policies on environment; participate in the formulation of development strategy on science and technology of the
2.Draft and submit to Director of the Institute for approval and implement projects, studies on environment.
3.Take part in setting up process and norm, technical criteria as well as studying plan of environmental development.
4.Implement programs, projects and studies on science and technology, and investigation on environment under the management of the Institute.
5.Undertake the contracts on studies, applied science and technology transfer in environment as assigned by the State, Ministry and the Institute.
6.Perform postgraduate education programs, including doctoral program on environment.
7.Undertake appraisal reviews of plans, projects and the thematic studies on environment;
8.Take part in implementing international cooperation programs/projects on environment as assigned by the Institute.
9.Implement publishing notice and prediction on environment
10. Undertake management of staff, finance and office facilities as assigned by the Institute.
11.Perform the scheduled or per-request report on the assigned work .
12. Implement other tasks as assigned by Director of IMH
