General Information

              The Center for Environmental Research is a scientific organization under the Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology with mandates to research and development of science and technology on environmental fields.

The Ministry of Science and Technology issued a license of scientific and technological activities No. 454 dated 27 October 2004 to the Center

The Center has 33 people (4 doctors, 23 engineers and bachelors).

Laboratory of the Center can analyze physical, chemical, and biological parameters of water and air samples for evaluating environmental quality.

Center supply technological guidance for water and air environmental monitoring network in the whole country.

Center has implemented a lot of investigation and surveys in the large scale to evaluate the existing status of environment and prepare EIA reports.
